Supermotard comes to Tenerife

On the 7th and 8th June, the third competition in the Spanish championship 'Supermotard' will be held at the facilities of Karting Club Tenerife, in Arona. It has been organised by the Canary Islands Motorcycling Federation with Motor Club Abona, in collaboration with the Canary Islands Government, Tenerife Island Council and Arona Town Council.Motor Club Abona, along with the Motorcycling Federation, is in charge of creating a circuit and of ensuring that on the 7th and 8th June all coordination and organisational tasks for the first ever competition of a national motorcycling championship to be held in Tenerife are in place and that the event is a total success. The organisation will work in collaboration with Karting Club Tenerife and the company Antonio Suárez Baute and Sons, who will provide important backup for this national championship event. The excellent facilities of Karting Club Tenerife are not enough for hosting this event, hence the importance of the company’s collaboration in providing land required for the circuit.
