There is plenty of choice of markets in Tenerife, especially in the south of the island. They are the perfect place for finding gifts to take home with you that you may not find in the mainstream shops.El Medano to the east of Los Cristianos has a weekly market (one of the best on Tenerife) every Saturday morning from 9am to 2pm. It's located right on the beach front in the main Plaza near Hotel Medano. This market has a great arts and crafts focus, with a bohemian edge.

The Los Cristianos maret is held every Sunday morning between 9am to 2pm. The market area is situated right near Paseo Maritimo bordering Av.De Londres next to the Hotel Arona.

Moving inland slightly from El Medano another popular arts and crafts market in Tenerife is Rastro San Isidro Market which takes place every Friday from 5pm to 9pm just off Av.Santa Cruz.

There is another popular evening market at Los Abrigos on the Costa del Silencio coast near El Medano. This one runs every Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm.

lso in the south, Costa Adeje has markets on both Saturdays and Thursdays weekly from 10am to 2pm. Costa Adeje market area is located inland from Playa de Fanabe beach, just north of Plaza Playa del Duque.
On Fridays the Golf del Sur complex has a market from 9am to 2pm.

nother popular Tenerife market is the lively Santa Cruz Flea Market on Avda. Jose Manuel Guimera on Sunday mornings in the north of the island.
