Nightlife in Tenerife
by DestinationTenerifeTenerife is well known for its bustling club scene throughout the south of the Island, most famously in Playa De Las Americas and Los Cristianos. There are several smaller clubs in some Spanish areas, and Santa Cruz has a very vibrant club scene in the North if Tenerife.
The most popular area is known as Veronica´s, where tourists are offered a variety of musical choices including 80’s hits, house and R & B.
There are a wide range of bars and cafes in which to start your evening, as many of the clubs do not get busy until midnight or afterwards, and stay open into the early hours of the morning.
You will find every type of pub and bar imaginable in the south of Tenerife. Depending on what you are looking for and what type of night out you want, you can find fun pubs, theme bars, Scottish bars, English pubs, Welsh bars, Irish bars, Spanish bars, entertainment venues and sports bars.
Most bars and pubs provide some form of entertainment and many places cater for families with children. If you like entertainment while sinking a few pints, then Tenerife has a number of specialist entertainment venues. These places tend to cater for families, normally serve food and will have two to three live act playing per night.
One of the most popular clubs in Veronica's, is Bobby's. This stays open after the others clubs shut. You will find it on the 2nd floor and its open every night.
Perhaps the mostly widely known club in Tenerife though is Tramps, also in Veronica´s.
Many of the best known DJs such as Dave Pearce, Judge Jules, Brandon Block, Lisa Lashes and Danny Rampling both visit and play in Tramps every summer.
