The 6th outing for this celebrated festival begins on the 4th of July, and ends on the 5th.  Purchasing tickets in advance grants a discount.  Juliette & The Licks will be one of the headlining acts, fronted by the famous actress, Juliette Lewis.Eólica 2008 will bring more than 50 performers from the Canaries, mainland Spain, other European countries, and from North and South America to the four emblematic stages set up at the Parque Eólico de Granadilla (wind park): Cristal, Plastic, Cartón and Organic. Over 30 hours of music in a variety of styles. The most outstanding groups this year include Juliette and The Licks, and Asian Dub Foundation, El Bicho, Luciano, Trafik and Úrsula 1000. Eólica 2008 is broadening the concept of the festival by adding a night of mixed music, lending a different air to the event and drawing different audiences.
