In the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz, during the 19th and 20th of October, the Canary Magic Festival returns for a second successive year.  Peppered with celebrities from illusionists and psychics to magicians and cardsharps; the shows will be a delight for adults and children alike.

Featuring Slyvester the Jester, one of the finest American magicians, who incorporates Looney Tunes masks and drawings into his shows, and has appeared on NBC and the Discovery Channel, alongside such famous names as the Latin American winner of the World Magic Championships, master of the cards, Luis Otero.

The popular high octane car based action franchise enters its 6th incarnation, and much of this films scenes are currently being filmed in Tenerife, in the capital, Santa Cruz, and Puerto de la Cruz.

Don't be surprised if you visit on holiday to Tenerife and see film crews organising sets around these two towns with tanks, high powered cars and Vin Diesel strolling around!

From the 20th to the 23rd of September, the Golf Las Americas course in Tenerife is home to this prestigious tournament.  As the name suggests, this is a female only tournament, and is full of star studded winning names, such as Melissa Reid (the current title defender), Beth Allen, Laura Davies and many others.

126 golfers in total will descend on this high rated golf course, with 17 Spanish players among them, with each hoping to take the trophy home. This is one of many Tenerife Golf tournaments - proving yet again that Tenerife Golfing Holidays are an excellent choice.

Exciting news was announced in the past week for Tenerife and the Canary Islands as a whole.  LM Producciones have announced a Rock festival for Tenerife, to be held in May, from Thursday the 24th to Saturday the 26th in the captial, Santa Cruz.

Details have already been released about some of the attractions available within the festival itself; including a wind tunnel, Formula 1 Simulators, a Ski slope and Skateboard park, MotoGP Simulators and Paintball - as well as a huge range of other activities and concessions around the event.  Read on to find out more!
