Exciting news was announced in the past week for Tenerife and the Canary Islands as a whole.  LM Producciones have announced a Rock festival for Tenerife, to be held in May, from Thursday the 24th to Saturday the 26th in the captial, Santa Cruz.

Details have already been released about some of the attractions available within the festival itself; including a wind tunnel, Formula 1 Simulators, a Ski slope and Skateboard park, MotoGP Simulators and Paintball - as well as a huge range of other activities and concessions around the event.  Read on to find out more! This December, Wednesday the 7th, sees Taboo, formerly of the Black Eyed Peas, Alex Guadino and many others descend upon the Plaza del Cristo in La Laguna for a one night event that contains many of the finest current dj's available.

Starting at 5pm sharp, tickets can be purchased from Música y Deportes Penedo y dcafé (La Laguna), Papelería Raquel y Carla (Playa las Américas - Arona) or Bar El Canario (Puerto de la Cruz).

Eolica, the Festival for Renewable Energies, has confirmed this years lineup, with the headlining act being Teenage Fanclub (UK).  It is being held on the 18th of July 2009 at the Eolica Park, in Granadilla once again, and this is it's 7th annual outing.
