Today, we'd like to introduce the first of our weekly articles from Guest Bloggers. This article will be written by Laurent Langlais, an instructor in Feng Shui.
My name is Laurent Langlais and I am an expert consultant in classical Feng Shui and Qi Men Dun Jia, living and working in Tenerife. Every week I will help you discover those sciences and the energy in action in our environment here in the Canary Islands!
First of all, let me summarize for you some important notions used in Feng Shui:
- The Qi is the universal energy that affects all living being.
- The five elements are the five “phases” of the Qi, also used in Chinese medicine: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. They can produce, enhance, weaken or destroy each other, and they are determined by the environment and the time period.
- The Feng Shui manages the Qi at your premise to enhance all aspects of your life, and the Qi Men Dun Jia does the same but it is based on time factor. (more...)
