Eolica, the Festival for Renewable Energies, has confirmed this years lineup, with the headlining act being Teenage Fanclub (UK).  It is being held on the 18th of July 2009 at the Eolica Park, in Granadilla once again, and this is it's 7th annual outing.

With an annual event celebrating everything that it means to be a Canarian, todays event (30th May) was a spectacular Island wide explosion of music and colour.

We only visited the Alcala event, but were assured that similar events were being held all over the Island.  The sqaure of Alcala was covered with decorations, and locals and visitors alike dressed up to enjoy the day.

Santa Cruz Auditorium has announced that British rock group, The Pretenders will be one of the many stars in their programme for the remainder of 2009. (more...)

Car tuning has been around forever, with generations of wannabe boy racers tuning their VW Gulfs and Escorts into submission via additional exhausts, engine modifications, lights, speakers and much more.

All of that comes to Alcala on the 30th May, with the 1st of what is expected to be an annual event being held at the Stables just up from Alcala town centre.  There are to be prizes for best sound, lighting, interiors and much more!
