Los Gigantes, on the western side of Tenerife, is raising money for Cancer Research Tenerife, with what will prove to be an unforgettable 'Ritz' experience at the San Francisco Sport and Beach Club, in Los Gigantes, on October 9th from 3pm onwards.

With 'tea and bubbles' on offer, as well as a white elephant stall and fabulous live music, why not go along and support a worthy cause?

There will be a raffle with prizes include a weeks holiday in a luxury apartment, lunch at Restaurant Pancho, an overnight stay at a luxury hotel in Loch Lomond, amongst many other prizes.

In the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz, during the 19th and 20th of October, the Canary Magic Festival returns for a second successive year.  Peppered with celebrities from illusionists and psychics to magicians and cardsharps; the shows will be a delight for adults and children alike.

Featuring Slyvester the Jester, one of the finest American magicians, who incorporates Looney Tunes masks and drawings into his shows, and has appeared on NBC and the Discovery Channel, alongside such famous names as the Latin American winner of the World Magic Championships, master of the cards, Luis Otero.

If you are holidaying in Tenerife at Easter, then you should take advantage of the religious activities on offer around the island.

Within Tenerife itself, Easter is a very big thing, with events happening around the Island from Thursday 5th April onwards through Easter Sunday, on the 8th April.

Adeje in the South and La Laguna in the North are two excellent places to visit, with Mass and church services throughout each day, as well as a huge procession in La Laguna on Sunday, and a 2 hour long street theatre depicting the last hours of Jesus on the Friday.
