With the massive shopping chain Iceland all set to open a 10th store in Puerto Banus, on the Spanish Mainland, it was also announced that they intend to open 2 brand new stores, one in Tenerife, and one in Vera.

These shops will be opened over the next few months.

For British visitors on Holiday in Tenerife, Iceland is a perfect taste of home, enabling them to buy their favourite items whilst still enjoying their Tenerife Holiday.

Iceland has stores in Tenerife already located near the major areas of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos, so another store being opened will be a lifeline for both visitors and ex-pats alike.

To help you out on your Holiday to Tenerife, we've come up with a great list of 5 tips that can help you make the most of your Tenerife Holiday.

These tips are in no particular order!

1. Pack plenty of suncream, and, more importantly, use it!

Lots of people come on a Tenerife Holiday and decide that they don't need to wear suncream, because they 'never burn'.  We've all made the mistake at least once in our lives, and it's no different here.  Whilst the weather can sometimes be mild, you can (and will) still get burnt.  The sun is out for a high portion of the day - and not taking enough precautions can lead to sunburnt skin, and diminishing the enjoyment of what is meant to be an fun and relaxing time.
