Exciting news was announced in the past week for Tenerife and the Canary Islands as a whole. LM Producciones have announced a Rock festival for Tenerife, to be held in May, from Thursday the 24th to Saturday the 26th in the captial, Santa Cruz.
Details have already been released about some of the attractions available within the festival itself; including a wind tunnel, Formula 1 Simulators, a Ski slope and Skateboard park, MotoGP Simulators and Paintball - as well as a huge range of other activities and concessions around the event. If you're looking for something to do this Christmas in Tenerife, look no further than the epic Ballet show 'The Nutcracker'. The Moscow Ballet will be performing in the Magma Centre on the 6th December. It starts at 7pm, and prices are 35 EUR per ticket.

Lots of people come on a Tenerife Holiday and decide that they don't need to wear suncream, because they 'never burn'. We've all made the mistake at least once in our lives, and it's no different here. Whilst the weather can sometimes be mild, you can (and will) still get burnt. The sun is out for a high portion of the day - and not taking enough precautions can lead to sunburnt skin, and diminishing the enjoyment of what is meant to be an fun and relaxing time.
