Temperatures exceed 40º

by DestinationTenerife

Temperatures topped 40ºC in many parts of the Canaries at the week-end as the mass of hot air from the Saharan Desert covered the region for a third day.

The dust cloud, which was clearly visible in satellite pictures of the Canaries yesterday, partly lifted last night but is expected to continue fo the next day or two.

At worst, I may not survive to ever make that statement.
