There are 2 main tourist resorts in Tenerife called Playa De Las Americas and Los Cristianos, based in the south of the Island. However, if you venture further afield, there are many other regions that tourists as well as locals like to visit for a variety of reasons.

Destination Tenerife had the chance of an exclusive interview with Christoph Kiessling, of Siam Park. He is personally overseeing all the final details of the park as we write this - so an opening date should be imminent.
How did the idea for Siam Park first come about?

Siam Park is really a theme park that transports people into the ancient Kingdom of Siam and offers amazing attractions for all ages to enjoy.

There are many beaches throughout the coastlines of Playa De Las Americas and Los Cristianos, the main tourist areas of Tenerife, which cater to both tourists and locals that enjoy the sun and sea near to all of the local bars and cafes along the shore.
