New water park to open in Tenerife

Visitors to Tenerife will have a major new hotspot to visit from this week with the opening of Siam Park. The Thai-themed attraction is reportedly Europe's biggest water park and is set to further boost the Canary Island hotspot's popularity among holidaymakers. BAA made the decision following a report by the Competition Commission that compelled the company to sell two of its three London airports in order to improve services for airlines and passengers. Since the Madrid aeroplane disaster another flight , this time from Barcelona to the Canary Islands , was forced to make an unscheduled landing at Malaga last Sunday .This was put down to a technical problem and the airline has said that it did not constitute an emergency as such . The previous day a flight from Zurich to Malaga had to make an emergency landing in Geneva because of a reported bomb scare . None of the passengers was hurt
