Excellent hotel, very clean, friendly staff. Food excellent & plentiful, the wine was awful.Sunbeds NOT meant to be reserved, there were signs around the pool, but I watched people at 6am putting towels on sunbeds, most of them dont use them until afternoon! No one from the hotel questioned it.The Hotel location isn't good, the resort is basic with nothing to do,leaving you a bit trapped. If you enjoy a good walk and have suitable shoes, you can walk all t...

Why the Ralph? Well, let’s just say me and sailing do not get on haha! Had a great time on the Katamaran otherwise - saw some short-finned pilot whales but alas no dolphins. The seagulls were rather entertaining too. Teide - wow, what a great view. Was an amazing experience. Driving up through the low level cloud and watching the sunset whilst drinking champagne. The talk by the astronomy was totally nuts - very funny indeed. Meal was okay - I’m real fuzzy I guess hehe! Was just an experience

I recently gone walking in Tenerife around the stunning shorelines and through the beautiful ravines. The hotel I stayed in was a nicely renovated sixteenth century mansion that just oozed romance and history in the village of Garachico, which with its empiric buildings with thier oak beams in great repair allows you to go back in time to a less hectic time and relax. Above and behind where I was based was an old trail which led around the mountain to a place called Bodega. VillagersThe village

Floating serenely down the kilometre long lazy river, with my bum wedged in an inflatable yellow doughnut and my toes wiggling in the cool water, what a way to spend a Saturday afternnon in the Tenerife sunshine. Today I had my first hands on experience of Siam Park, the new Water Kingdom in Costa Adeje. My last trip was covering the official opening evening on September 15, a much more formal affair but this time I gratefully acepted a media day invite, and brought along friends Vicki and

1. I got a new job. I'm the Branch Manager for the new Alaska Geographic bookstore. OK pay, not so OK benefits....we'll see how it goes. It's a job, you know? First things first; we have to build the store. 2. I made Ratzones again! Can anyone out there think of a more palatable name than that? It's a rodent, it's a calzone, it's........ A close-up of the cutest one. He's wearing a little hat. I ate him. 3. Three paintings in the annual juried 64th Parallel show. Someone said I'd go
