Tenerife has long been viewed as the Island that younger people visit purely for the beaches and the party atmosphere. But a Winter Tenerife Holiday doesn't have to be all about the sun, sea, sand and sangria!
If that's the kind of holiday that you're after, then Tenerife can more than live up to the billing; with many hotels in Playa de las Americas just a stones throw away from the large nightclubs such as Tramps, Bobbys, Busbys and many more. With nightlife continuing until the very late hours of the morning, the party need not stop, and for some, thats an ideal holiday.
For others, Tenerife can show a softer side, once you get away from the tourist areas.
Los Gigantes, in the west of the Island, has a much more relaxed and sedate way of life - and there is plenty to do during the day too. With a fully functioning marina, there are diving trips, whale watching from glass bottomed boats, dolphin watching from a wide selection of boats and yachts - you can even rent your own speedboat and cruise around the open ocean, fulfilling whatever dreams you may have about being your own captain.
Regardless of where you're staying on the Island, there are several places you should visit while on Holiday in Tenerife.

Many of the airlines flying to Tenerife are gearing themselves for an influx of bookings as we get closer to the school Half Term holidays. Roughly hitting the week between 25-29th October this year, we highly reccomend that you get your flights booked nice and early, thereby getting cheaper flights and avoiding the dissapointment of not finding a seat with the airline you want.
No frills airlines such as Ryanair are among the most heavily booked and have been praised in the past for their 'no frills' flights. Personally, I have flown to and from Tenerife with them several times, and the adage 'You get what you pay for' has never been truer. Whilst an enjoyable and comfortable flight, there were certainly no added frills by any means! The drinks and food were rather expensive too, but it was adequate enough for the 4 hour flight.
Some airlines are even adding extra seats and flights to their Winter lineup for Tenerife - and it comes as no surprise due to the fact that the Winter time is one of Tenerife's big draws, with heat and Sun all year round.
If you're looking for some Hotels for that warm Winter break, then you could do no worse than trying our new Tenerife Hotel Finder. We aim to offer the best prices, and to beat any you may have been quoted elsewhere! If you have already visited - why not leave a review with your feelings on the Hotel?

Monarch Airlines has added a range of flights to Spanish destinations, including cheap flights to Tenerife, anticipating high demand during the Half Term break. The majority of these are added to the Luton Airport schedule.
The MD of Monarch, Tim Jeans, was quoted as saying:
We have seen huge demand for flights to Spain and the Canary Islands this summer, with record breaking passenger and load factors recorded over the past few months. This demand has continued in to October and these additional services are in direct response to this.
Skyscanners recent destination survey showed that Tenerife, Alicante and Malaga were 3 of the favourite flight destinations for winter breaks.
