As a new arriver to Tenerife, I think that the two most important and urgent issues are "Where am I going to live?" and "Where will I find a job?"

Some people will look for these things before they move to Tenerife, but a surprising number of people wait to find out information on Tenerife after they have arrived.There are a wide variety of estate agents in Tenerife that you can walk in to and ask for information and available apartments, many of which speak English.

Some of these agents will try and charge fees for contracts or organizing an apartment for you, so the trick is to find the lowest charges.
