Mike Sutherland, from Chayofa, said:
It's a great idea, although I'm not convinced that the price is competitive enough at the moment - last time I looked it was 600€ for a return flight, and that was just for one person! I'm married with 2 children, and I'd love a holiday to Miami, but I think 2400€ is a little steep for us to go away for a week or two, before counting hotels and holiday costs.
I think we'll wait until the prices drop just a little - I'm hoping there will be competitors springing up now, which should drop the price a little.
Mike raises some good points, a flight from Tenerife to Miami costs roughly 600€ per person, however, who's to say that we won't be seeing some price cuts soon, especially if other airlines start running direct flights too?
Susan Reylton, who lives in Los Cristianos, said:
We love it, I'm at the mature end of the scale now, and myself and my husband were considering a holiday to Miami last year, but we were dreading all the flight changes we would have to make. Now it's easy to get a direct flight from Tenerife to Miami, we'll probably go sooner. We can't wait!
