There is plenty of choice of markets in Tenerife, especially in the south of the island. They are the perfect place for finding gifts to take home with you that you may not find in the mainstream shops. El Medano to the east of Los Cristianos has a weekly market (one of the best on Tenerife) every Saturday morning from 9am to 2pm. It's located right on the beach front in the main Plaza near Hotel Medano. This market has a great arts and crafts focus, with a bohemian edge.
The Los Cristianos maret is held every Sunday morning between 9am to 2pm. The market area is situated right near Paseo Maritimo bordering Av.De Londres next to the Hotel Arona.
