Siam Park is located in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, and, once open, will be the largest waterpark in Europe, with a total 18.5 hectares of land inside its boundaries.
Costing 52 million Euros to build, construction was started in 2004. It was due to be opened in May 2007, however, it has been plagued by construction delays, but is now expected to open very soon, once the final safety checks have been completed. There were plans to have a rollercoaster amongst the waterparks grounds, however, this idea was scrapped in favour of having the park open earlier. The park itself has 25 Thai-themed buildings, which makes it the largest collection of Thai designed buildings outside of Thailand. The restaurants within the park will server Thai food, and there is also a floating Thai market. We are currently running a competition to win two tickets to Siam Park. Official website.
